Spirals Bell Pull - Muted Colours

This design, the same as the Spirals 'Bell Pull' design apart from its colours, was influenced by two beautiful masterpieces of the 7th century, the Lindisfarne Gospels and the Tara Brooch. I have endeavoured to capture the interplay between the curved lines that emanate from the 3-sided panels and the spiral web of colours that bind the design together. The colours here are muted, reflecting the hue of colour in The Lindisfarne Gospels. ? I have finished the design as a bell pull, but it looks just as attractive framed or as a small table runner.

This design has been worked on 14 count Aida fabric in cream colour and, when finished, measures 5.3? x 16.5? / 13.4cm x 41.9cm.
